Dvd2xbox Audio Problems
« on: September 27, 2004, 01:28:00 AM »

hey all...

i'm trying to rip a DVD movie with DVD2XBOX and encode it into Divx. it seems to rip fine and i'm able watch the movie (with sound) directly from the .vob files on both my xbox and PC.  when i open up Dr. Divx on my PC to encode the vob's into avi, it says that it can't find the audio for those files though.  i tried changing the ACL settings in DVD2XBOX and switching all the places for my PC to find the audio files, but that doesn't help. i can rip the dvd and convert it with no problems at work (it's kind of a hassle though), but i'd like to be able to do this at home. it just seems like the xbox doesn't rip the audio correctly so that Dr Divx can encode it correctly. anybody else have this problem? any suggestions?

thanks!
