There are already six moderators for Newbie Chat, not including all Head Moderators and the three Admins.  The problem isn't lack of moderators, it's that there can't be 24 hour coverage of any forum.  If something is posted that violates the rules there is always going to be someone who is the first to find the post.  Sometimes it will be a moderator.  Sometimes it will be a regular member.

The best you can do if you find it as a member is just report it to a moderator.  Don't bump it by flaming the person, just report it to a moderator quietly and let them assess the situation and deal with it accordingly.  smile.gif

That is the best advice given in a long time.

The assholes of the world who show up on our doorstep to claim their 5 seconds of fame in the Gbin are a problem.. but sometimes it's the 10 morons after the asshole that just makes it worse. (and fall for the assholes TROLL BAIT)

Leave the thread alone, report to staff and let them handle it.

no ,but i see clips off of ESPN he got his ass knocked out in the 4th round hahah ,he didnt want to get up because he knew he would get knocked down again

have a tiny quiz before they are allowed to get make any posts.

let them get an account, but before they post, they have to know the rules, which will be tested in a tiny quiz.

also perhaps have a 10 post probahtion period, were if for any reason within the 10 post limit, if they make the slightest itty bitty newb mistake, then BAN. and if they want another account they have to wait 7dys or something.

this is my take on it, i personally dont appreciate newb posts, i sometimes make some, as do others, but extremely newb posts are outrageous.

also those crappy case mod posts ie; duct tape box, all metal box, gets tiring
