its a patch to make the xbox dash (M$ one) multi region.

If you have the dvd kit (remote & dongle) the first retail disc you put it in will be deemd the region of your xbox and from then on thats the region its set to.

The patch removes the region lock, but be warned if you use live then using the patch will get you banned. I'm pretty sure you can undo the patch by just applying the patch again-

the patch is supposed to be burned to cd- putting it in your xbox will patch it, then if you put it in again it will "unpatch it" so its safe for xbox live

I had a patched xboxdash stored on my F: drive  so I could use that for playing import DVDs - however I just updated my proper MSDash with the Tsunami update (or whatever it was) and now my patched dash just gives me error 21.

I've tried the patch on the updated xbe but it didn't work. Any ideas?

[EDIT] Problem solved - used THC Lite instead :-)
