Don't touch the controller until it's done loading.  This can cause Linkboks to lock up.

I have noticed that but if you move the controller after you hit the back button it will lock up also. Linksboks would be awsome if it didn't lock up so much.

Has anyone tried the keyboard/mouse support yet? I just did and hmm it ain't working correctly for me  sad.gif

I tried to enter a URL - no go, the keyboard just does not work for me. The mouse moves and sometime it works ( left click ).

How's the keyboard/mouse support working for you guys out there?

Try unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in after Linksboks boots up.

Works like a charm now! I had to unplug the keyboard and plug it into a different USB Port, the mouse I had to plug into the 2nd gameport ( I have one of these mods where you have 2 USB ports in a single controller ).

Go to the Options Manager > Document > HTML Options > User font size  for adjusting the text size in web pages

Go to the Options Manager > User Interface > Font > Menu > User font size to adjust for Menu font sizes

I use 24 and 20 respectively.

only lag l see is when loading sites.
it freezes linkb for a while.
my linkb has never crashed.

Hehe, Well my controller dropped to floor 2 times yesterday, and both times
linksboks crashed on me.

Otherwise works well, never hangs completely, just the above stated loading times.

Upper part of this msg is typed from linksboks.

Peace'n out.

The bug casuing it to temporarily lock up is in the xbox controller bucause I have tried both of mine and I find the mouse sliding down every once in a while. If you hold it slightly up the screen won't get caught as much.

I don't get it! A few people here mentioned that they are writing their post here in the forum with Linksboks, but I only get SEARCH FOR HOST on my xbox, as soon as I type another URL I can go there.

Any ideas???

Works great on my HD set! Thanks so much!

I'll have to play around with the font sizes see if I can make it more readable at 1080i, or I may just drop the max rez down to 720p.

I noticed that the screen calibration controls max out at '100' pixels, I need a bit more for my set... (grin)

Something to consider for your next rev.

Now I just need to go recode my movie database software so it doesn't use JavaScript...

Xbox v1.3
x2.2 lite
x2 4980 bios

average USB keyboard and logitech Ifeel laser mouse.. with a PSO USB adaptor on controller 1 slots.

keyboard works great!!! everytime i plug my mouse in .. it would lock up Linkboks.. have to reset without the mouse.. the controller thumbstick works great as a mouse anyways.. i'm so glad you added keyboard support.. thank you!

However fixing the FTP and file: protocols are my priorities for next version.
The lockups and slowdowns are maybe related to a not-so-good network stack implementation on the Xbox tongue.gif, but I do have some ideas to speed this up I'd like to investigate, still I can't promise anything.

I'm a complete xbox newbie, only had my box modded two days ago but managed to get a dashboard/ftp/media player rocking.
Noticed a linksboks post while browsing the forums for info, installed and configured my dns/ip settings. Works like a charm, I was cosidering a linux install in order to web browse but this app does the biz.

I changed the gui/html font sizes to 20/20 in order to read better on my tv.

Now if someone could magic up a flash plugin version that would be bloody marvellous.

Anyhow nice app, really does add more funtionality to the xbox.

I don't want Linux, I just want a functional browser to extend the functionality of my Xbox.
This is it. I can't thank you enough  beerchug.gif
