How To Erase Xbox Dvd+rw?

I'm trying to do it with Nero 6, but when I choose "Erase rewritable disc...", I only get an error message that says "illegal disc".  So do I need a special program to erase the xbox discs (xISO images burned with nero) or should the regular burning apps be able to do it?

Get Recordnow MAX and do a full erase.  That is what I use and it can erase any disc even if it is an illegal format like the XBOX uses.  Keep in mind there is a reason you always see Recordnow MAX being used to burn DVDs for the XBOX, though many tutorials use an earlier version which goes by a different name but is just an ealier version of the same product.
