Twisted:

THANK YOU!!!! I cant tell you HOW many times Ive wondered thru the whole damn tutorial section looking for a tut Ive read before and couldn't find it in amongst that rabble.   I like the fact that they are its split up into sub-categories, I know people have asked me about a mod theyve seen on the tuts sectiong and think its soooo easy and I should be able to do it in a few minutes, now I can say, SEEE ITS ADVANCED YOU IDIOT!!!.  lol all kidding aside, thanks again, can this idea be moved to the rest of the tuts section as well?

I'm going to move this to suggestions - that way the "big shots" can take a peek at it. smile.gif

Personally, I like the idea. You did a good job splitting everything up, twisted.

On the tutorials page they could still be under the same pull-down menu, but just organized into their sections.

EDIT - just to clarify.. this is the hardware/case modding tuts.. not all the tutorials

Really, a lot of the tutorial lists are getting unwieldy and I'd recommend an entirely new layout for them...as annoying as that would be for whomever does the pages, it's be hella more organized.

thats an awesome idea twisted.. i really hope they split it up like that.. all you need  is just those 3 headings don't make extra pull down menus for it.. I hope this gets passed it's a nightmare trying to find what u need in there.

It's got my blessing.. course.. I don't handle the organization of the guides.. smile.gif

But I'm passing this up to a higher power as we speak.

I fully agree the tutorial section is confusing and not very well ordered at this moment.

I'm trying to develop a better system to order all these tutorials so people can find them more easily.

yeah I think pretty much everyone agrees the tuts section is getting too big for its current setup

the hardware section most of all... hopfully those sub headdings can help as a temporary solution to hold people over until a more robust solution is found...
