so far i got

Xmen Working
slide Working
skate working
tank working
airquake not working
blood omen2 working
Targetquake working

im told the reason some of these are not working are because low memmory needs to b tweaked also dont forget to rename the first map start

btw any one else having problems getting retail to work? i think you have to have all files pakd

You're better off making a list of MODs that do not work, as most MODs play fine, and the majority of those that do not, will in the next release.

Slide does work, and XMen Quake works as well. Make sure your Quake is fully up to date.

hi, well i noticed your nice list and was wondering how did you get xmen to work? i try replacing the files and what not but didn't work for me dry.gif

i did manage to get simpsons quake running just by adding the pak2.pak but not sure about the with x-men.

also i've been wondering if its possible to play any quake 2 mods cuz that has me stuck in a rut too.

i'm fine with doomx stuff tho (love smurf doom tongue.gif )

just rename them to a doom1 wad and it will load

ok i got it to load but gives me an error where it suppose to show the demo, any help on this?

yea they work fine. doom1 doom1 shareware and doom 2, final doom and ultimate doom work as their own names and the mods/mission packs as well.

for doom1 mods i just name it as doom1.wad and it loads fine. others work as their own names like Final Doom TNT wad is tnt.wad and Final Doom Plutonia is plutonia.wad

well you have to have the full version of the game installled on pc then run the kit for the mods it should merge everything in the doom wad and then you use just that.


btw, any help on the xmen quake? it goes to the part where the demo is suppose to start but locks up saying something is missing yet alll wads and gfx files are there

most mods come in kits that you extract it at the doom installed and run the bat to patch the wad
