if you can, ftp them under apps. edit evox.ini and type the right path for dvdx2 apps. Like this
Item "DVDx2" , "e:\apps\DVDx2\default.xbe"

Same here - and also tried to make a CD out of it with Nero but made a coaster instead it seems

What did u do to get it working then?
use craxtion to extract .iso file, ftp it to apps in your xbox.
