Hi

I tried to softmod my Xbox before 2 days, using Ndure 2.1 with XboxHDM and Hotswap.
But it didnt worked.

So I need some help and tips to do it right, because I will try again.

Here some details of my PC:
- Boot set to Boot from CD
- Primary Master set to PC's HD
- Primary Slave set to PC's DVD Recorder
- 1 free IDE Cable (it was for my DVD ROM, but my DVD-ROM has some problems so I removed it)

Here some steps I took to softmod my Xbox:

1. Opened Xbox's Case.
2. Opened PC's Case.
3. Turn on the PC.
4. Insert my Ndure 2.1 with XboxHDM CD in my DVD Recorder.
5. Remove XBox HD outside xbox.
6. Pluged the Xbox  S-Video cable in TV.
7. Turn on the TV.
8. Turn on the XBox and restart my PC together.
9. I pressed Pause/Break key of the keyboard.
10. When I saw the big X with the word MS in the botton, I removed the Xbox's HD IDE Cable and hotswaped with my PC's HD IDE Cable.
11. Pressed Enter to continue.
12. Ndure 2.1 with XboxHDM options appeared.
13. I choised option 3.
14. It said the eepron is not found in the Ndure 2.1 with XboxHDM CD, and got error 7 in the TV.
15. Tried to boot the PC and XBox together again, and my Ndure 2.1 with XboxHDM CD just said that eepron not found in my softmod cd and in TV just started to show error 21.

When I hotswap, I should plug the free IDE Cable of my PC or the PC's HD IDE Cable

About Xbox
I should unplug the IDE cable of Xbox DVD-ROM before start the softmod or not
