does it decrypt it also?

It does. when dvd2xbox is able to authenticate the dvd (done if the destination path is the title name instead of dvd2xbox001).
However the 0.5.3 has some problems with that. Try 0.5.2 or wait for a new version.

QUOTE (StevenC @ Jan 21 2004, 07:08 PM)
Ok im having probs with it. 2 of my games work, simpsons road rage and splinter cell but two dont, dino crisis 3 and tony hawks 4. they dont even start the xbox makes a funny noise then locks up. Dino crisis 3 works on DVD RW but takes ages to load. I take that back it wont boot from dash with evox

I am PAL btw

are you finished hyjacking the thread?

sorry about that , wasn't meant to be a hijack and should have started a new thread.

Be a bit more specific on your post and and you might get an answer to where it's all going wrong for you.
Some relevent details might be :
The version of DVD2Xbox your using
Bios your using in the Xbox
The version dash Evox dash your trying to launch your games from
The method of making an iso and burning.

The reason I say this is because I've backed up my original Xbox games of the same games your having probs with onto my Xbox HD and haven't had a prob.

I used :
DVD2Xbox v 5.3
X2 4981 Bios  {MultiTSOP}
Evox dash build 3935 (IGR Dissabled)
v1.1 xbox (pal)
v1.5 xbox (pal)

PS .. A Thank You to the Author of DVD2Xbox may not go a stray either.
