Checking Disk Space Usage
« on: December 31, 2003, 07:39:00 PM »

I'm trying to install linux here, and I have a extra mysterious 3 or so gigs showing up on my E drive.  I had some files that were large, but I have taken them off using BoXplorer and FTP.  Well now I try to install linux and I get a not enough disk space error.  I check, I only have 1 gig free out of the 6....   Well, I'd like to say I have the time to check through all those folders but, I don't.  Any app that will tell me how much space a folder on my xbox is taking (FTP software included, flashfxp doesnt)

No, not accurately.  I check the size of my apps folder and it said 3mbs,  I went in and saw 10mb files in side it...

I think I am going to FTP the entire E drive to my PC, check through it all, format the E drive on the xbox, transfer the contents back to the xbox.
