I dont know how this fits in but this forum seemed most reasonable. IF i dleted all my linux stuff from my xbox before it messed up from soft modding and i sent it into repairs to the MS people will they be able to tell what i tried to do and why it messed up?If they can im fuqd. :(  :blink:

Other way is to get a chip and do a "proper" install...

Either way you should have taken the time to read befor trying to screw m$ over for a misstake you made while removing files from your xbox....

Short version:

Yes, they will very likly see what have been done just by looking in the gamesaves...

MS won't look at what's on your box.  They don't care, unless there were signs of the XDK, or some of their software, but not likely they would check.  They'll charge you about $80 to wipe your box and turn it back to retail, and send you another refurb box, then keep yours for the same purpose.
