No... but I did post the sources to NKP-Config, so anyone with Vb6 knowledge could incorporate the new features.

now no need to use tray booting to disable shadowC (the old way)
and a easy way to disable the virtual EEPROM to make system changes (HDTV settings ect.)
it's too easy  jester.gif

QUOTE

changes
--------------------
From version version 11-U01 to version 11-U02 (Unofficial)

 * ADDED two global override functions
now there is a easy way to disable the shadowC and virtual EEPROM for making system changes.
just put any file named shadowC_off.bin and/or EEPROM_off.bin in the root of E:\
reboot and do what you need then delete or rename it.

 * ADDED a few more LED color/blink options

 * ADDED dash testing for habibi and patch back paths when using tray boot
if not there it will default to tray open NKP options (no way to get error 21)
a invalid path will display a "fast" frag on the eject led

 * CHANGED the fan setting to only be used when NKPatching is done
that way nothing will be changed if using tri-boot, habibi or patch back for some XBL trick

 * ADDED a option for tri-boot led color for the same XBL reason
also be sure to set the ALTDASH_LED_COLOR to GREEN if using habibi tray boot for XBL

 * FIXED the tray booting not being detected corrrectly after playing a orignal game (ROE)
   without any boot time increase
   (see topic here http://forums.xbox-s...post&p=3018013)

  get it here

still don't what to do with the VGA options
will wait and see..  wink.gif

not sure how this has anything to do with NKPatcher (unless you used one of VGA versions but
it will give mostly red not just pinkish)

So with these 360 controller windows drivers released and a linux kernel with support for it can't we make this into a nkp feature also? I'm sure it doesn't mean much but it does sounds like a cool feature....

ok before I blast away this xbox. I just utilized the game save exploit with Splinter Cell, installed EvoX, booted with Auto-Installer Deluxe 2. And I see this Nkpatcher. My understanding is it is far superior to the Phoenix BIOS. This xbox does not have the mobo points bridged. Is this necessary to utilize Nkpatcher?

Thanks!

I gave it a shot with no problems. I was expecting a flash of the bios but I see how it functions now.

I have a softmodded xbox. With EVox, and I use UNleash X at boot.  I want to run NBA live and other new games that can't be ripped to my HD. How do i go about installing this NKpatcher? I have looked through all the forums, but nothing clearly states what a person with an already modded xbox such as myself must do. I dont want to rush into it with out help and render my xbox useless. Can someone please help me, or show me where i need to go to find what i need.

sorry for the delay, never used the virtual CDROM function to attach .iso files
but have looked into it and it works very well and is simple to use
you need to get the tool set by rmenhal
Nkpatcher 8.1 (Drive Image Utilities v1.0.1)
when you go through the read me
QUOTE
* The ripped .iso image is unnecessarily large in this initial version. No
processing is done to the iso. A future version of the backup utility may
   contain user selectable automatic optimization.
you do not have to use this iso ripper unless the iso would be larger then 3.99GB
you can use any xiso tool (MOOGUI and layoutdumper is a good one)
but you must put the attach.xbe renamed to default.xbe in the Dir with the game.iso
your dash should pickup it and use the Dir name as the title name, if not use xberenamer.
there is also a detach.xbe to unattach the iso you should rename it to default.xbe and put it
in a your apps folder E:\iso_detacher\default.xbe, again the dash will pick it up.
there is no need to unattach before you attach a different game.iso

you must have
define VIRTUAL_CDROM_DRIVE
in the config.inc of NKPatcher(8.1-11) and recompile to use this feature

also DVD Movies will rip and attach but will not play from MS dash or DVDX2
not sure why but must have somthing to do with the Region settings any comments on this ?
(would be nice to get this working)

@stig87
you need to find out what softmod you are using and how it is setup
then look over the config.inc set it for you needs, mainly the paths then recompile with the make file
you can allways change it as needed with the runtime file.
if you have any specific questions post them.

HI, and simple question.

I've been using Unofficial Nkp11-01, it's overall good, but i don't like how i can't set the LED colors to blink when your eject tray or when it's reading dvd, nor on the green.

I've found an option called COLOR_BLIP???, on the UO nkp11 02, what is this? And does it allow me to fix the led blink on eject???

Thx.
Much appreciated.
Oh, and i'll make sure Credits are fully given.

If I'm not mistaken blip is just another blinking sequence. For instance a normal blinking sequence goes like:
orange, off, orange, off and a blip goes like orange, orange, off, off
