Also, with 5.1, I've set log details to 0 (ie, off), but I noticed it still makes log files. Are there some other settings stored anywhere in a udata/tdata folder that need resetting, or is this a bug?

It's funny that you mentioned that because I got mine set to 1 ( on ) and it does not make a log file. So I'll guess that I have to put it to 0 to turn it on.

Either somethings back to front in the code, or the tag should read nologfile

In 0.5.1 the logfile is always written due to some missing code lines -> fixed in next release.
Regarding the backslash issue. It should work with both versions (it does for me). however there're some smaller bugs which are fixed in the next release.
