Stop with the fancy status screens and just copy the files or give us an option to display the screen or hide it.  Calculating percentages, drawing status bars, truncating displayed text... all lead to less CPU time  for copying files.  Perhaps a minimalist view and a regular view that we can switch on or off?  Of course this won't help if you still calculate the percentages and such while it's minimized.

Give us the ability to omit directories from the DVD that we want to skip (like demos, etc).  Perhaps this could even be in an .ini file or something for use with all CD's we copy?  That way, we could just add "xdemos" to the ini and have it skip all files or folders that are named xdemos.

WiSo has metioned somewhere that he i guess benchmarked and said it don't take anymore time then the old version.. Also i think that the system is more limited to the actual speed on teh ATA controller which i thought i read somewhere that is was a ATA33 but i don't know a definate answer.. But i have also read people having problems with it being alot slower when copying to there E drive instead of there F. So it might be dealing with the partitions and hwo they are setup.. no clue though..
