Upgrading An Already Modded Hd
« on: April 21, 2005, 07:23:00 PM »

I modded my stock hd using the hotswap technique and used xbmc to put evox on it. Yes, I know, it is kind of pointless to mod the stock hd seeing as it's like 10 gigs. I shortly realized this after I did the mod. So anyways, my question is, if I were to update to a 120 gig Maxtor hd, would I be able to just boot from my xbhdm boot disk, format it, copy the c drive stuff over, lock it using xbhdm, and put it in my box? <

That would work.

Also include your E: drive though. (gamesaves, apps, whatever might be on there)

(so backup C: , E: and Eeprom.bin)

You should end up with the exact same setup you have now + an additional F: drive. <
