Yeah, I'm definitly working on it, I'm just getting started on D3d though, so don't expect anything soon. Maybe 2-3 months.

i have been modding half-life for YEARS so let me see what i can do

but that is in no way is telling you to stop porting i just want to see if i can do it

Da Frog, yeah, if you're expirienced definitly work on it, I'm only just getting started with D3D, so for me it probably will take a few months between classes and work. Do you know anything about the assets i don't think they are included, please prove me wrong.

it runs from the half life 2 engine so is it as simple as sorting source for hl2.exe and then compiling the xbe?

One thing you might want to do is lock the resources into the xbe somehow because someone could probably easily enough get half life2 running... if you get hl1 going counterstrike and its 1 map should work

@LiGhTfasT:im going to remove key files that allows half-life 2 to play half-life 1 doesnt need these files so there will be NO WAY to play half-life(1)

@sleep_21: the whole freakin source to half-life 2 is there EVERYTHING i can run half-life 2 on my pc and it WORKS so porting it will be no problem

@everyone:want anything new added to it will im porting it???

well system link would be the cool, so than you could play it on xbconnect/xlink, could you do system link, maybe td from xlink could help or somthing, if your not sure how.

this kinda makes me want to say "wait a freaking minute"
why the hell whould you part hl2... and lock out the part that lets you play hl1... then say some captain obvious shit about won being gone... and steam sucking... when hl2...

Can i get a "news report" on what has been done, and what features you are working on, in the HL1 port?
