has any one tested this also how many can i host on a cable modem?

Biggest Q2 map I've ever known of allowed 64 players. As for how many are possible to host, I've never seen more than 6 be hosted on one cable modem before, so I'm not sure of the max. I've never personally been able to try beyond 6.

Well, I don't know about the XBox or how many clients you could plausably have connected on a broadband connection, but I do know that the game crashes when about 150-190 clients login to the same game (this is on a P3 1GHz with 256MB of RAM, so you could probably squeeze more in with a more badass system). I tried this with the EraserBot mod, BTW. I'd imagine that the XBox could host about that many clients before crashing, too.
