can i copy my sin files to my quake2x as a mod?

I tried this a while back, I renamed the .pak files placed them in all the right places, but It won't work. someone will have to port the SiN executable to make it run, since Quake2 has been done I don't see why SiN would be all that tough now (i'm not sure if they ever released the source, it's possible that it has some major changes) I know in SiN you could drive a few basic vehicles and junk so I dunno, cheers to anyone who can get it up and running, that was a fun game.

I don't think so.
If you want to try it I suggest trying to get a PC version of Quake II to run Sin .pak's
If you can do this the next step will be easy, but I doublt you'll get that far...
