I realize SCEEE gives me access to my LIVE dash and to connect ... but before I Logg on and play game ... I just want to make sure I'm safe.  I heard of talk between getting LIVE updates and actually playing a game on LIVE.

If you answered this question alot ... it may be that others are a little confused between the 2 concepts of LIVE content download vrs LIVE game play.

If your readme said LIVE download content and PLAY retail games on LIVE in de-activated state.... then I wouldn't ask.  But I figure it's better to play it SAFE and ASK to double check ... before having to deal with being BANNED.

Great Installer and SCEEE switcher!  love.gif  pop.gif  pop.gif

If I'm not mistaken (since i never used live) live content is put an a folder on the e drive and has nothing to do with dashupgrades. In an unmodded state you boot retail and you should have the latest dash. Therefore there will be no dashupgrades (untill a newer dash is released) If the dash get's upgraded in the future the EEE probably will no longer work and you need to switch back using the gamesave exploit. Untill then you can use the SCEEE without problems. Goin live using the splinter cell game or downloading splinter cell content probably doesn't work. Any other game should function well.

Look in your dashdata folder for two files. One called settings_adoc.xip and the other one called settings_adoc.bak. If BOTH are there delete the settings_adoc.xip and rename settings_adoc.bak to settings_adoc.xip

The EEE requires you to put in the eggsbox thing every time you wanna trigger it. No way around for that.

And if you have UEEE installed you should have no acces to the live dash since it wants to load fonts that are hacked. The normal msdash works fine though. With SCEEE installed the livedash works without problems.

You see that's what's wierd about my setup...like I said I have the UEEE installed and running.  While disabled, I have full access to the Live dash, and I can enter the "eggsbox" thing in the soundtrack rename to re-enable the mod.

Thanks.
