If you document what xfer will be expecting from the dash, I'm sure MXM and all the others will add the support in due time then.

i think adding avalaunch specific features would hurt your app.  It would make it a dashboard specific app and would not be used as widely as it is now.  I'm sure it will still function with other dashes, just in a more limited way, but that would be reason enough for me to abandon this app all together.

I wouldn't change my OS on my PC to make use of one convenient linux app, and there's no way I'm leaving my beloved MXM just to let me make ISOs on the fly, see a thumbnail and delete save games.

Please make your app completely dashboard independant.

i think adding avalaunch specific features would hurt your app.  It would make it a dashboard specific app and would not be used as widely as it is now.

There will be features that will be dashboard-specific, but only because making the features work under any generic FTP server (i.e., EvoX and XBMP) would take more time to build (and I have yet to get a paycheck for my work on xFER wink.gif), and it would operate substantially slower.  If BenJeremy will add the features I need to MXM, this stuff should work fine with it.

However, I don't understand why having some dashboard-specific features would be reason enough to miss out on the other dashboard-independent features that are already there, but that's your choice.  Seems kind of idealistic to me.  Especially since you don't have to switch dashboards to use the features.  You can run Avalaunch like any other app, and then go back to your beloved MXM.   tongue.gif
