Just copied the StarWars Bonus disc and it works like it says above. Someone also said that T3 had an xblive update on it as well as many Universal films.

What about the demodisc that you get with magazines? I doubt that all thoese companies are going out and getting xboxdvd's pressed when they could just sign the xbe for the regular dvd-rom at their own site.
Lets start checking them out as well, Demo disk would have multiple xbes on them aswell as the menu system.

@PedrosPad
I was a little confused with what you said about only OXM having xbe's but I realized that theses disc I have here arnt OXM but also I live in Australia and these disc are from  Australia Xbox Magazine. I have the most current issue with the Republic Commando Demo here right now, maybe this might be something useful.

Well. I think its about time to end this little crudsade. As I keep looking into this more and more and reading up on both Sha-1 and Rsa I realize that cracking sha-1 would do nothing here.  If we want to sign code, we need to crack the public key in the kernel which is rediculous (private key = a function of two very large prime numbers. Public key = the product of the two prime numbers)

While this is mostly hopeless, I am still going to work on a program to figure this sucker out. Shouldnt be to hard to write, just to run.

sorry if this sounds stupid im just gonna throw this out there

do home dvd movies play on xbox,  like if you have a bunch of music videos you use a dvd authoring software to make a playable dvd with the videos for your dvd player, do these disc play on an xbox

would there possibly be a way, to create your menu for the dvd, have your xbox game on the same disc with a few music videos or something and have a menu button from the dvd menu  point the xbe file

again sorry if this sounds stupid but was just thinking some crazy shit last night while playing H2 and tipping a few beers

only reason i asked is some say when you back up a game the sig is still there and the flags are as well since dvd2xbox pacthes them or what not, just the reason you can play a backup with a hack is beacuse of the press disc or book type, id actually try this out but i dont have any dvd author experience what so ever
