Yeah you have to downgrade your msdash version to 4034 or something alike...(which comes on v1 xbox's) Then you will be able to patch it with dvdx v1
I have done this but dont like it, for no reason really(the word downgrade has probably got something to do with it)... why doesnt someone make a dvd player for all dashboards? that can use both remote and game pad...(up to user)
Is there a program out there like this?(I have not stumbled upon it)
Even xbmp should be able to play dvd's or something... (sorry if theres something around but I havent found it)

yeah this is a solution i want to, but not too keen on the 'downgrade'

im suprised after all this time there is no region free dvd player that will work for all versions and also lets you either use control or remote.
