and you tried the evox boot cd?
if you have a mod chip this should not be that hard to fix?

Well, your right. It's not locked correctly. I'm not sure why though. The password is the default password TEAMASSEMBLY. It's a pretty simple program, as far as I can see there is just one way of locking it with Config. Magic. Any suggestions?

the password shouldnt be the default password it should be your xbox's uniq hd password.. if you had evox installed on ur original hd.. it should be under the backup folder in the hddinfo.txt file.. or somthin like that...

Hmm....but it doesn't even ask me for a password it just does it and tells me the default password. I am begining to wonder if my hard drive is lockable or not. It was listed as it should with config magic though.

The password IS TEAMASSEMBLY.

But, did you use the EvoX backup to generate the backup data from your ORIGINAL hard drive? Because you then have to use this data to lock your hard drive, I believe.

Your hard drive IS LOCKED correctly. Believe me, if your box was locked with the wrong password you would know it. If a hd is locked with the wrong password you wouldn't be able to access the drive at all, regardless of whether the modchip was enabled or not.

As to what else might be causing your problem, is hard to say. The frag seems to indicate that something is wrong with accessing the original BIOS, are you sure the onboard BIOS isn't hosed?

What type of modchip do you have and who modded it?
