i think the only way to use your wma's as in game soundtracks is to rip the cd's with the MS dashboard. Music is stored on the hardisk in a strange way, so you are best to let the standard dash handle it.

X-BOmber X uses the soundtracks that you have on your xbox.

Soundtrack Editor will take WMAs from your PC and move them into the Xbox music manager.

Media X Menu will eventually allow the same thing, using WMAs and MP3s FTPed to X:\, then convert and move those files into the Xbox Music Manager soundtracks.
