Sorry About This Just Another Error 21

I softmodded a new xbox with the ude2 exploit The Xbox is a newer one and came with Topspin and Ncaa college football. all games I have played works fine, even Backups, but when I try to play topspin and Ncaa disk I get error 21.
What could it be?

any help would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Damn, once more, either setup nkpatcher successfully, or manually start the default.xbe for the game using a file-manager.

this issue is caused by the menu for the game uses the fonts located at c:\fonts

in a UDE/UDE2/UXE setup these fonts are hacked.

If your nkpatcher shadow feature is setup properly then the real fonts will be at c:\fonts
and the game will work flawlessly

DaddyJ, thanks for bitching this guy out.  My father inlaw's xbox has the same exact problem.  I would have never found thread 1 and thread 2 without your punishment. (cause the search on xbox-scene sucks monkey nuts.  I've been looking for days)

DaddyJ... is there anyway that I can make this work on my friends xbox... cause hes got PBL-Metoo installed and it doesn't work with that game.

Either strip the games to the HD.

Manually Make a link to the default.xbe.

Setup NKPatcher with the Shadow C Feature.

Hex edit the menu xbe and replace the c:\fonts with the c:\fonts entry, and reburn. (DVDROM must be able to read the DVD+-R/RW media.)

Currently there is no Shadow C in any Bios Loader.
