Need Some Soft Modding Help
« on: December 28, 2004, 10:06:00 AM »

Since I had a good working soft-mod I havent really been staying up to date with whats new etc.

So basically I just got an xbox for christmas and just tried the soft-mod to be faced with a nice error, so I guess I have a fairly new version xbox (1.6?)

I have put the xbox back to its original state and all works well but would like to know what are the new ways of soft-modding (the last one I used is pbl 1.4)

I have a copy of 007 AUF and the save game on a mem card so I can ftp into the box ok

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but feeling a bit lazy atm (to many mince pies and turkey)

Cheers for any help you guys can give.

if you're lazy use an autoinstaller (ltools, waffletools) or uxe-complete (it's in the usual places)

well its not that I'm lazy when it comes to the modding was just a bit lazy to look around atm as I have been away for christmas and have had a long journey home today visiting family etc.

I'm not bothered if I have to do things manually, I've soft-modded a lot of xboxs in the past and have never used an auto-installer, I'm just after the best soft-mod out there atm, it doesnt have to be the easiest method.
