Remember, it was the first "COMPLETE" homebrew game on the Xbox (Pong just went on and on, X-Marbles had high scores, 'an end').

Well, if I remember correctly BreakoutX3D was released 5 days before X-Marbles and I'd definitely count that as a complete game. It had multiple levels and an end too.

Congrats anyway though

When was BreakoutX3D released? I was pretty sure the only one out was X-Pong.  Paul Yoon was writing that article for XBN and I was heading out for a vacation to Vegas.

BreakoutX3D was released on the 7th August '02 and X-Marbles was released 12th August '02 if my reckoning is correct.

Ahhhh..... very close.

Then you are correct. I think I released it on the 9th or 10th though.... I was in Vegas on the 12th, IIRC (it's a special day for me, so, I should remember that).

Ah well...  rolleyes.gif  still got the props on the CXBX milestone!

Wow.. so the xbox emulator is certainly coming along.. beerchug.gif
Probably will be a few years before PC's are powerful enough to emulate the system fully.

The trick is it really isn't emulating half as much as a normal emulator does, lowering the system requirements.

Yeah, as it can hijack a lot of the code.
