Xboxhdm Ude Package - Really Quick Question
« on: December 27, 2004, 06:40:00 PM »

First, I would just like to thank all the contributers to xboxhdm and the softmod scene in general. I used the UDE Package w/ xboxhdm here and couldn't be any happier. you guys are animals. anyways i have a question about using the "UDE Package" w/ xboxhdm on xboxes with a dashboard greater than version 4920. I read in the package instructions that you can

"...you can include the update.xbe from either
one of these dashversion, or the actual exploitable update.xbe itself
(4920 update.xbe for UDE1, NFL Fever update.xbe for UDE2)
in the UDE/files folder before including it on the xboxhdm CD."

does this mean that I should copy the original update.xbe (that I have from my xbox w/ dashboard=4920) to the UDE/files folder and then make the xboxhdm CD? And then I can UDE2 softmod an Xbox with dashboard>4920? Thanks so much.

Xboxhdm Ude Package - Really Quick Question

i installed UDE 2 on my xbox using the lastest xboxhdm and ude packages.  i forget what my dash was exactly, but it was probably the latest one. my xbox is brand new ver.1.6.  i didn't change anything... i think you'll have to do ude 2 on the box you are talking about, and the program will install the nfl fever update.xbe, which should work.  basically, i don't think you need to change anything, just use ude 2.  i would get a 2nd opinion tho, cause i'm a huge noob myself.
