I just made a new 200MB (200000000 byte) file in WinHex, saved it as shadowc.img, and transferred it over as E:\shadowc\shadowc.img (or whatever your setup has it as.  Leave the file zeroed out in WinHex and it should work fine.

I'd imagine there are lots of other programs you can use as well but this way is pretty simple and it worked fine for me.

Can someone recap for me what the benefit of shadowc? And limitations (what it doesn't solve).

What files should be on there? I tried copying MS Dashboard v5960 over to it and deleted some file but I keep getting error 21. I know the real C is still working correctly because I can boot Slayer2.6 from the DVD.

Not sure what files I should be leaving on there? I assume the C:\fonts\dashboard folder since this is where I assume it is loading the dashboard from.

Help please. Thanks.

wtf...
what can be easier then renaming any file to "shadowc.img" and then loading the renamed file with nkpatcher and formating the loaded file with evox or unleashx ?
it's just not that challenging dude.

you have to load a different bios with pbl or use an older version of nk patcher to access it

add pbl as an app (in your apps folder) and tell it to point at your dashboard, and set it up so it has a BFM bios then you can edit the c drive.
