Dvdx2 Palyback In Hi-def
« on: June 06, 2003, 04:41:00 AM »

Would it be possible for a new version of DVD X2 to be written allowing us to play DVD's in say 720p or 1080i?

It would be awesome if this were possible because there are a few movies around which are encoded in a higher resolution, namely T2: Extreme Edition which was done in 1080p!!

the T2: Extreme Edition is a normal video-dvd which will play fine with dvdx and a dvd which contains the video in 1080p as windows media 9.
its not a regular video dvd and you shouldnt put too much hope into a new version of dvdx to play it.

but maybe xbmp will do it.
