Is boxplorer still being upgraded i got v 0.96 i think and its a really good program. Is it? or is there another program around/being developed similar to it?

i have just downloaded boxplorer but i cant figure out how to install it to my harddrive.
how did you install it.

scorpion there is a tutorial on the main page...something to do with installing evox dashboard without connecting xbox to a pc.... It says ow to install boxplorer(2 lazy to type it myself) any news of a similar program in development?

i only use it to run some progs that i dont have listed in my evox dont use it for copying files dont know why but most of the time it crashed on my system so i use the ftp client is works like a charme and no problems

I dont think its being updated, you should check out XCommander, now that really is good and easy to use. As far as i know its still getting updates and things too.

Take a look in your evox.ini and figure out what directory the "autoadd" command is pointing to for games. Then just use boXplorer to create a new folder in this directory and copy all of the contents of D into this folder. Reboot your Xbox and you should see a new listing in your EvoX game launch menu.

As far as the size of the game... I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing it is similiar to a PC when you ask it the size of a CD-ROM... 6.7 Gb is probably the size of the entire DVD-ROM media, not what is actualy used. Take a look around these forums for the size of some common games, I know most games are much less then 6.7Gb

what does xcommander do? can you browse,rename,copy and paste etc. on your xbox harddrive like boxplorer?
