Dvdx2 Problem

sup guys. i downloaded dvdx2 and installed it and it does the thing were it looks like it is about to load then drops the video signal for a second (my tv turns blue when it gets no signal) and returns to the evox dashboard. I have checked by evox.ini file and the "dvdplayer" line is all correct and consistent with where the app is installed. It finds the app in my "apps" menu. Everything looks like its fine and it even looks like it starts to launch the program at the beginning. I have a 1.1 xbox with a matrix with evox.d6.blue on it. I was thinking it might have to do with my newer xbox version. I have one of the xboxes that came with live already installed (xbox live menu on ms dashboard). So is there some type of problem the newer version is causing? Is it my bios? i heard some stuff about having an eject fix bios but ive tried the d6.ejectfix bios as well and i still get nothing. This is all done while trying to play an original DVD. Ive tried multiple DVDs and have downloaded the dvdx2 many times in case of it being corrupted. Any ideas?

DVD 2.0 is working for me on this setup.
XBOX 1.0 (Pretty sure about this not 100% however)
Matrix Mod Chip
Evox Bios 2.5 w/eject
Evox Dashboard 1.8.3752
I extracted the files out of the ISO and moved them to my Apps Directory on F: Drive via FTP, made sure the line in my evox.ini was correct and when I rebooted it showed up in my menu and worked. Still need to make a few changes to its .ini but I got Sweet Home Alabama (Wifes New Fav) running first try. Hope this info helps.
