I can ftp to my xbox, and I want to build an image that uses a dashboard exploit to load the x2 4983 bios and then unleashx.
If i just throw unleashx and the config file into the root of c, with the uxe will it boot?

kind of confused, do you alread have a working UXE on your xbox? if so you can just put unleashX wherever your old dashboard was making sure that the .xbe file for unleash has the same file name as the xbe for evox--

if not  then you have to follow the instructions in the official uxe thread it will tell you where to put your dashboard (if they say evox or something,  just replace it w/ unleashx

I have Kernel 4034.01 and Dash 5960.01.
I have ltools installed through the MA gamesave exploit.
I have ftp access to my xbox.

I want to make a brand new hard drive with xboxhdm, but am having trouble finding exactly what to put on the linux>C directory.

I have a regular xbox bios, and want to set up the hard drive so it executes the following:

MS bios -> Hacked Dash -> PBL -> x2 bios -> unleashX

I have the x2.4983 bios, and the newest version of unleashX and the UXE.
If someone could tell me exactly how to put together what is above I would appreciate it. (I would appreciate it even more if they did the package for me, but then i wouldn't learn anything...).

Once i have that package set up I will compile and burn my xboxhdm iso, and make my new drive.

thanks in advance

the boot path you want doesnt make much sense, the bios loader and bios have to be loaded before the hacked dash

ok, to make a new harddrive like that i would suggest taking yoru backup of the c drive from your xbox (assuming you made one before installing w/ ltools) and put that in the c folder of the linux folder in xboxhdm.  then use the uxe package as described here but instead of ftping it to your xbox, just put it in the c and e folders of your linux directory on your pc.  create iso and make the harddrive, you should have UXE up and running on your xbox when you put the new hdd in.

I'd just like to say wow to you spaceboy.  You seem to have been keeping yourself busy today.  In just about every topic I've been reading in this forum today, you've had postings.  It's people like you who help the small men that make this site great.  Keep up the good work, you saint.
