Avalaunch is still alpha, and is missing many features, but it is still very impressive even in its current state.

Current Features Are:
· Ftp server
· Telnet client
· Irc client
· XBE launcher with icons
· Auto updater
· Long filename support (>42 characters)
· USB keyboard support (for both clients and menu)
· Configurable network settings

Upcoming Features:
· File manager
· One touch backups run in background
· Game saves downloader (xbox-saves.com compatable)
· Fully dynamic skinning
· Multiple font and language support
· Configurable paths
· In menu audio
· P2P transfers
· And much more being discussed!

I asked Blazed about the P2P feature, and he told me, "we're going to implement our own protocol to boost transfer speeds between two avalaunch xbox's" Nice!!

All in all, its very impressive! In my ever so humble (but always correct) opinion, Avalaunch is shaping up to be one of the greatest homebrew applications yet, second only to the ever impressive XBMP. The clients work great and the menus are slick, and this is only an alpha! Kudos to The Joker, Blazed, and Lys. You guys are doing a great job.

Avalaunch will be avalable from 'the usual sorces' within a day.

i just wanted to know if I can configure it so it will recognize where my games are. is it possible yet or is that in the next version?

btw...i love the telnet and irc clients

Mine did it all automatic.

One a few programms wern't recognized.
