There are some xdemos media folders that do not have a png imge file for the back drop!!!!!

how would i get a screen shot of the image ???

It would be grate to use some of the back drops with MXM!!!!

Im with you there. I was trying to do the same thing a while ago. I wanted the backgroud you see on the SegaGT/Jetset disk. Its not a png image.  I hooked up my xbox to my video input on my video card. Then I realized the boxes for titles and images are in the wrong location. That makes that image use less with menux.

Hmmm... well, (come on, you know I have to pipe in here...) MXM can easily be set up to use the screen.

I'll have to take a look at it.

Yeah, I see that now. The only thing I have a problem with is the Default loading delay and the Defaul title delay. I read that if you set them to 0 that disables them. I did that but they still appear. I would like my disk to start at the menu. The mxm screen is ok but I really dont care to have the swirl screen appear.

Use the Generator skin as an example to work from. IT doesn't have a title screen.

Hmmm... I was going to look at grabbing screenshots from MXM (I do my captures with an ATI TV Wonder card right now). I'll make sure it's on the 'to do' list.

(This image is now dated... over the weekend I fixed the proportional and justification options on images. I also added the Disc Title on the upper corner on that bar, opposite the "Xbox" in Xbox format with a glow.)

I just have to find a keypad combo to do the screenshot with...  wink.gif

Great, thats exactly what I was trying to do. I also have to use my Ati All-In-Wonder Pro 128 to capture screens. I tried to find some one to get me a screen capture. I use a matrix so I cant run a debug bios. Heres some early work from yesterday. Your is more like what I wanted.

I think a screenshot from the xbox would have better image quality.

Looks good, you'll appreciate the new goodies available under 0.9i (maybe StrongBad will chime in with his take on the new stuff). I'll hopefully get a few things wrapped up tonight so I can knock out the doco and make the skin you see above clean (It's my test skin, so I've got all sorts of goofy things going on to test the effects now, including the screenshot bouncing around in the screen - of course that won't be part of the final skin).
