Not unless the game has been ported. You cando it with like... Quake2X though (As it is a PC compatible port.)

unless its a old school game and it can run under bochsx (or whatever its called, heh) or if it can run under linux/wine, but then i'd be slow as heck i'd assume.

forget  about it, a 900mhz PIII system with 256mb /20gig HDD and a Geforce4 mx card will set you back a $400 or less.

a dedicated cs server runs good with linux.i set mine up when my friends come to play and even 8vs8 was perfectly playable

a p3 700mhz wiv 64mb ram running Linux Wud be fine for running a 12man CS server.

So yes it wud work, but i doubt u wud get more then 12man without starting to get Choke Lag. but then again depends how many server mods u add to it!

Can u make a small tutorial?? Like first install linux. And wich linux?? And then install kdde or is it enought with xwindow???

I also want a cs server on my xbox becouse i never play on it anyway...

Whats up dawg i can help you out i thought about running a mac OSX on mine but here your solution to this.

THREE ways to do this first way is to but a cable modem($85)then buy a ethernet card ($45) plug your XBOX into your Ethernet card .Then plug your cable modem into into your USB port in your computer, and setup up a share network.(you need to get you ip and other for you xbox to do this just go to start menu run then type winipcfg)

Way number two buy Ethernet card set it as a share card then put you Xbox on the network but you will have no internet.(you need to get you ip and other for you xbox to do this just go to start menu run then type winipcfg)
