Is there a software to copy Game files (on DVD) to Xbox HD directly without the need to transfer it to a PC first?

yes --> xbox copy

check your pm

i use boXplorer.

use the computer to make a folder for the game that you want to copy.

press the right trigger
select the drive the game folder is on
select the game folder.
press left trigger.
select the cdrom
press white
mark all
press white
copy

hold down left trigger + right trigger + start.

your done.

takes about 5 or so minutes.

PXHDD rips straight from the DVD drive to the hard drive, faster than boXplorer also.
