Media X Menu Help...

the text size is so damn small like font size 2 or 3
there also seems to be a lot of waisted space wich would allow much bigger size like around 12 or so, any help on why or how to fix this would be great... this is the only thing that keeps me from using this cool program.

:::sigh::::

The text size is likely small because you have a long game title. The menu is automatically resized to fit in the larger menu items. You do want to see the entire title, right?

Reduce the number of characters in the longer titles and see how that changes the size of the text.

FYI: The font is actually pretty large.

I really can't win. People complain because the text is too small, but if I didn't adjust the size, people would complain because the titles were cut off.

ya but i got like at least 3 inches of space for more text, also how can i get it not to show the cloud thing and the title showing the name of the disc? i set both delays to 0 but it shows them still

You won't get rid of the sky and logo.

It's been explained before. I will offer a couple of 'flavors' of that screen, but it's initialization (and an ID), so it stays. People are free to take the source and modify it to exclude or change the screen, though.

The disc title screen should go away if you set TitleDelay to 0 in the MXM.xml <Main> section:

CODE

0

The next release will be more flexible with the rendering of the menu, including the selection of the fonts (for example, you could use a "Halo" font to render the menu). It will be a bit cleaner. That release will be 0.9g, which I'm still working on.

Perhaps another week or so until that is released.
