DVDX2 doesn't support the remote

or instead of dvdx2 use dvdx1 its allows multi region and remote control. basically it patches your default ms dash to make it play all regions. Doesn't work in 1.1 boxes i believe.

I'm in the same boar (want to play multi-region w/remote). Thing is, doesn't DVD-X1 NOT do progressive scan? I don't need it this moment, but I might sometime this year.

or when you want to use the dongle and remote, shut the chip off.
