Dvdx V2
« on: January 29, 2003, 11:29:00 PM »

I have tried searching the forums, from the newbie forums to mediaplayer forums with no avail. I am having a huge problem getting DVDx v2 to work. I place a DVD in the tray and it seems to load and be recognized fine. After loading, i select "Launch DVD" and when i think the program will load, the screen acts like the program will load and all of the sudden, the screen is blank. this also happens when I navigate to "Launch menu"-->"Apps"-->"DVDx"...The other apps on my system( xbftp 0.61 & XBMPv2.2) work flawlessly. The system is an xbox v1.1, Xecuter2lite, BIOS= EvoX D.6 with EjectFix, Dash= EvolutionX_beta_V1.8.3285...Please help!!!i am going insane trying to figure this out. here is my evox.ini file:

k you say the app is in "Launch menu"-->"Apps"-->"DVDx"...
but in your ini its listed as DVDPlayer = "e:AppsDVD-X.V2.0default.xbe"
thats a difference of .v2.0
so first check paths
check again
try adding a line to your ini like
Section "Apps"
{
item "dvd player" , "e:AppsDVD-Xdefault.xbe"
}
check paths
