Xbox Live Competition?
« on: January 21, 2003, 10:32:00 AM »

Is there any hombrew software that allows me to play games online?  I have read through various parts of this forum and it seems that people have eluded to that.  If there is, could somebody tell me what it's called?  Thanks.

xbnconnect is a tunnelling program that runs on your PC and serves as a gateway to the interent, so that Xbox users can connect over the internet as if they were on the same LAN.

It's not the same as Xbox Live, but it will let you play a LAN game with others.

gamespy also uses their tunnel software to do the same as xbconnect. I find that most of the time there are more people on gamespy but i find that xbconnect has less lag ... soo more ppl playing more lag or less ppl playing and less lag .. u decide.
