Quake 2x And The Internet

First you need a packet editer i used wild packets ether peek
but ne one will do.
Then you enter the ip addy of the server you want on ur comp
Then go back to where u can select join host and setup
and start the capture then go back to quake2 (on the comp) and goto join game
and the internet game should be there, if it is not click refresh.
ok join if u want but this should be enough.
Quit Quake 2...  Goto the packet editor
you will see ur ip sending an ip broadcast the sending an ip to the server.
after that u will see a packet that was sent from the server to ur ip

make sure it is the one after the one ur pc just made. ( not the fourth packet send
back and thourth betwind the server and u)
now open it in raw mode, or ne way u can edit it.
(select it the make it the send packet, then goto the send menu and select edit send packet)
now you have to change the ip address of the destination to the ip of ur xbox.
and then the destination of the ethernet header.
Then finnally the two checksum's they should say what they should be.

once it looks ok turn on ur xbox goto join game and send the packet from ur pc to ur xbox
and the server should show up, then join and the game will load and u can play.
Only ur name stays as repi, i have not tryed to bind "name woteva" yet but i wil soon.
