ok i realy need help i am trying to do the chipless modd with mechassault i have coppied the save to my memory card so now i can load run linix from mechassault so now i can ftp in to my xbox and from there im stuck i cant get evox to go on my xbox ive tried every thing but when i boot my xbox up it just goes to the same xbox dash bord i even tried something that said i could us a music cd and that would work but i keep getting the xbox dashbord coud some one please help me could you go in to detale on what to do cause obveousley im slow or i could have done it buy now please pleas please help

go to xbins and download ltools it does all the work for you

im not a genious at this, but Ill tell you what worked for me.
First off, you must have the original game (not platinum hits, and some say that the online enabled vs does not work either)

1. get ltools MA vs 1.75 game save exploit from usual places.
   Heres a hint: operating systems/linux/distributions. (its in there somewhere)
2. unrar it with winrar (if you dont have it, get it from download.com
3. Put it on your mem card via action replay.
4. Put mem card in controller, boot up xbox, go to memory, highlight mem card, higlight Mech Assault, arrow to the right once, push A, select copy to hdd, reboot with MA game in tray and mem card out of the controller, go to load game and select run linux, follow the intructions from this point on, reboot after linux has generated a backup of your hdd.


also, know that I never got MA working, i kept getting "cannot load run linux"
So instead, I used 007 AUF, and had no problems what so ever. So keep this in mind if you never get MA working.

In order to fix this if this happens to you, make sure you delete all files having to do with mechassault (Saves and Downloaded content) and load 'Run Linux'. Worked for me.

hey blackjesus you are the greatest person on these forms ive been asking how to do this for 32 days now and every one tell me the same thing now you come along and tell me how to do it and now it worked thank you so much if i had a $1 i would give it to you and by the way you are a genious
