Hello i tried to flash my xbox...
(my signature has the hw specification)

Purpose :
1) Just wanted to test
2) Remove the Flubber Animation with the Playbox machine

Flasher Disc (DVD-R) : Eurasia pro generic flash disc 1.3


Backed up files using Slayers Disc 2.7
XBOX\backup Files

CODE

bios.bin (1024 KB)
disk.bin (512 KB)
eeprom.bin (1 KB)
hddkey.bin (1 KB)
hddinfo.txt (1 KB)

Note : Every time i tested i used the copy of Original's bios (backup). I DIDN'T Reused the same bin (already edited).

Editing and Flashing :
Opened bios.bin in EVtool_1.0.9 for editing..

1) Just opened in evtool and saved as 256KB (was showing 1MB) and flashed it to the xbox (after making the flash writable) to check whether the flash protection is disabled or not....
Result : It worked... And i reflashed the same bios...

2) I opened the bios.bin in EVtool_1.0.9 than i just to check clicked the import 'Import Evox
Logo' Pointed it to...
EVtool_1.0.9\DDS Samples\x-s_man.dds Saved and flashed it....
Result : It worked. Now i can see X files Logo instead of Evo Logo While Loading (booting)

3)I opened the bios.bin in EVtool_1.0.9 than i just to check clicked the import 'Import Evox Logo' Pointed it to...
EVtool_1.0.9\DDS Samples\halle.dds
than i 'UNSELECTED' this options
-Animation (uncheck this to not show the big X logo)
-X Logo (uncheck this to not show the flubber animation)
-Trademark Symbol (uncheck this to not show the 'TM' symbol on the logo screen)
-Splash Logo (Uncheck this to not show the text logo which fades in as dash loads)

After Flashing it auto shutdown....

Result : Started the machine as usual (2 sec press for evo boot)... but it didn't booted to evo. It loaded the original MS dash ..half ring green.

What it does is
(The normal Behavior was after keep the Reset button pressed for 2 sec it shows Yellow Full ring and boots to evo... and for original press 1 sec reset button the light goes Half ring Green and boots to original xbox)

1)Shows Yellow light (full ring) than go blank...than it loads and turn half ring green... and boots into original Xbox dash... which shows set date.

2) I read Some where that u keep pressing the button for 5 - 7 sec... i tried that and here what
happened
It  shows Yellow light (full ring)  than go off and again Yellow light (full ring) than off than again Yellow light (full ring)  and this time it stays but nothing happens on the Screen... No video output...

What i can do now...?
Boot to original dash and play original games... nothing else....

Please help me i am really screwed... ( i do not have that mech assualt and other stuff like that to softmod...)

I will take help of electronic guy for soldering and stuff but please do provide a info for this

I also have Slayers 2.7 iso.. written on Cd-rw...
