Xbox Bios On Pc
« on: May 05, 2007, 03:54:00 PM »

Why doesn’t somebody make a regular desktop pc into an Xbox game playing machine? Since the Xbox after all is an x86 machine. It is basically what Microsoft did and converted a pc to play video games. Somebody should swap the pc bios with bios from an Xbox (preferably the original one on the machine for software issues and game compatibility.) You would probably need a new blank flash ROM chip if you wanted to keep the original bios of the pc. Burn the Xbox bios onto the blank one, take out the Flash ROM on the pc motherboard and plug the new Flash ROM chip into the pc. Then you would need all the files off the Xbox hard, or just plug an Xbox HDD into the pc. Hopefully it would work and the dashboard would boot up and would work. That way you could have more CPU power, ram and graphics……Just a thought.
