I've a 1.6 softmodded xbox and whenever I'm in a modded app/game and I hit the eject button, the tray comes out half way and the xbox resets, then the tray goes back in. This has to do with the bios, and it isn't flashable. How would I stop this from happening without a modchip?

I could try modding the original xbox dashboard.. But that seems like a lot of work for something that *might work* -- so, is it possible to mod the original dashboard without a modchip

I try taking the cover off the xbox and the disc tray, and swap the discs without ejecting it, but that KILLs games -- Halo 2 is a hardened veteran.. This works, but sux
