Since M$ has the right to update dashfiles when you connect to it is it worth installing the easter egg for a long term live acount or will it be just a couple of weeks before they fix it?

Well the DoubleDash update was sent mere days after the thread was posted on the main page of X-S. The Easter-Egg was posted soon after the update was sent out and there hasn't been an update since then that I know of so maybe they will just incorporate it as well as the UDE into the next set of features to be added.

I don't think they could kill the UDE with a dash upgrade. you would have to swith to original fonts firt to even connect to live so you would always be able to switch back the bert ate ernie font with the update.xbe.

I believe they can only fix it in BIOS like the 5713 as we can always downgrade the files from backup, no ?

True. too bad they could always fix the easter egg easily with some small update.
