Possible Trouble
« on: November 28, 2006, 10:03:00 PM »

so i got this 1.6 box all done up with a duox2

i flashed it fine with evox m8 bios, it works fine

but i upgraded hd to 300gb, using slayers (couldng find my AID) it formatted the drive and only gave it 124ish gb on the F: drive and no G: partition. is this bios limited or what is going on? I got AID again and it wont make it any bigger. I even pulled it out and formatted it on my PC and tried it again and no dice

any ideas?

You'll need to patch the bios with EVTool to allow for the large hdd. If you patch it for one big f drive, you will need to format in 32k clusters using XBPartitioner to avoid corruption.

Nope, you'll be fine. Partitions corrupt at 256gb, and neither of yours will be close to that.
