Ok, heres the poop (providing im using the correct package).
I read the readme and followed it along until it said WHIPE my C: folder and replace x with a.
Instead, i skipped that part and followed the rest of the forum/readme up until the new bert-ate-eirne part. It got a but confusing and im tired, it will wait.
When i booted and started to run the eater-egg it gave me an odd error, one that i wasnt sure existed. "You have reached the limit of 100 soundtracks, you cannot create anymore"
LOL well now i know there is a cap on the amount of soundtracks i can use but it didnt get me any closer to the brass ring.
Ok, so i renamed my files using the .bak extention so i didnt lose anything or copy over it. I have completely backed up my box drive to my PC. and i have removed all the changes i made to the box (except for removing my AUF save for the FTP).
Is there anyway i could ask like a simpleton, in the most humble of ways, in the kindest voice.
(hobbles to his knees and begins to grovel) Would someone be so kind as to place all of the essentials, including an updated readme, in a solidified package and place it in the usual places and then create a unified tut on the forums? I know i would be greatful along with a good amount of the newer members of the community. Infact, i offer my service to write up the tut on the forums so long as the readme is clear and concise.
So i plea to the grandwizards of the upmost high, consider this request. (stands to his feet and runs out in humiliated) |
The answer to your question is simple:
No.
Not by me atleast. If you can't take the time out to read and learn to do it on your own, I sure as hell am not going to make a super-noob (slayers-like if you will) package. Our goal is not for you to go to blockbuster to copy a game and take it back, or for you to download a game off of a torrent / ftp / newsgroup / dc etc. & put it in and play. All of the information you're requesting is on this board. Yes it might take you a while to sort through it all. We had to do it, and if you desire to find anything out, so do you.

http://sh0x.tk/P.S. I do admit the UDE pack found in the usual places by me does need a critical update to the readme. After being hosted for a few weeks, Iriez had to remove important files and edit my readme. When he edited it, he was not very clear about the now missing files. I have been very busy lately, but will get to it when I have time.
